Veteran actress Vatiswa Ndara continues to remain the black sheep of the acting and TV industry. Following being blackballed after speaking up about a number of injustices that happens behind closed door. Subsequently, Ndara was wiped off the face of the earth.

Vatiswa Ndara has seen it all during her peak times of her acting career. However, when she confronted some of her bosses for being underpaid amongst many other injustices that were happening right under their nose. Ndara found herself out in the rain with not raincoat on.
“I will not stop telling my story and my truth. The industry spat me out a long time ago. I don’t want to tell you about the time I had nothing.But I've been living by the grace of God. I am here and will tell my story.” said Vatiswa Ndara
Years later, little to none production houses will cast Vatiswa Ndara even though her talent and track record speak for itself. In her latest book "Unfiltered" Ndara opens up about past traumas which still haunts her to this day. Speaking to Zimoja Lezinto, Vatiswa Ndara has details rape and sexual assaults ordeal that has traumatized her for life.
The rape ordeal dates back from 2006 when the Home Affairs actress was only 35 years old. Ndara speaks about being blindsided by someone she considered a good and close friend after she asked him for assistance.
“I didn’t have money for a cab and I couldn’t find anyone to give me a lift. I called a friend to see If he could give me a lift home. Indeed, he came and picked me up. He fetched me, but I noticed as we drove off that he took a route that was not headed to where I lived. When I asked him about it, he said he wanted to go home" said Vatiswa Ndara
When they arrived at the man's home, Ndara remained in the car while the man went inside. Instantly, he returned and invited her inside. Unknowingly, Ndara made her way inside the house and was also offered a house tour which ended up to her being taken advantage of.
“He came back to invite me in and when I entered, I noticed that it was quiet and dimly lit. I asked him where his wife was, and he told me she had gone home to her family. A violation of my physical form and a violation of my spirit; where I would experience humiliation in its highest form" said Vatiswa Ndara
Ndara is still perplexed, bewildered and discombobulated by the arrogance once the man has taken advantage her, he also took her home. Later on, Ndara opened a case of rape at the Rosebank Police Station in Johannesburg and the case has been moved for investigation.
