Zonke, is without a doubt South Africa’s leading female hit-maker, not just a multi-platinum selling artist, but also a dominant force in urban song writing, writing songs for artists across the country.

Recently this beautiful, driven and highly talented artist added yet another accolade to her growing collection, as she was named Best Female Artist of 2013 at the Metro FM Awards. To add yet another achievement on her accolades Zonke also released her highly anticipated live DVD of which ZAlebs had the privilege of being a part.

If you take a look at her timeline you’ll realise that the year 2013 was definitely Zonke’s year.  It was seldom that she spent a quiet weekend at home as her demanding schedule took her from city to another.

Amstel is proud to present Zonke at the last Golden Hour of 2013, taking place at the Durban Jazz Festival on December 26th at the Hazelmere Dam in Durban, KZN. This laid-back, open-air festival is in its 11th year and will feature a mix of the best Jazz, Soul, R & B and Afro-Pop.

Zonkes’ Amstel Golden Hour performance will see her supported by a live orchestra – complete with horns and string sections – stunning visuals, special effects and amazing costume designs that are bound to transform the stage into a magical landscape and create a timeless moment for fans to enjoy.

Zonke has expressed great excitement for this year's Jazz Festival, explaining that she even choreographed the full stage production of her show to give her fans a wholistic experience of what a Zonke performance entails.

"I always want to give my fans the best possible experience, and being part of the Amstel Golden Hour has given me the freedom to create something truly wonderful and memorable." she said.

Other artists expected to perform at the Jazz Festival include Mafikizolo, Donald, Khuli Chana and L' Vovo.
