With events all over the country canceled, restaurants on the verge of closing and bars trying to adhere to Minister Bheki Cele's rules of no alcohol after 6pm we are left with very little to fill our time while we are socialling distancing.

Well you will be glad to know that your fave shows are still going to continue filming despite the real threat of Corona virus.

Phew!

According to the Sowetan, acting SABC spokesperson Mmoni Seapolelo had this to say:  "At present, no active productions have experienced any Covid-19 cases, thus there is no shutdown of these active productions, however any productions requiring live studio audiences and performances have been postponed."

The publication went on to establish that Etv and DSTV telenovelas are going along as scheduled. Isibaya, The Queen, Scandal and Rhythm City will continue without disruption.

The award show that celebrates local shows however, has been canceled. The South African Film and Television Awards will no longer take place at the Sandton Convention Centre on March 27 – 28, 2020.
