The Doritos GoodSundae party series travels to Jozi on Sunday, 29 September, with an afternoon of great vibes courtesy of some of the country’s leading artists.
Big Nuz, Tira, P Khuttah, C-Live and the Naked DJ will be in the house at The Sands in Sandton from 1pm, joined by Benny Maverick and Major League. This glamorous and ritzy venue recently underwent extensive renovations and the GoodSundae gig will mark its grand re-opening to the public.
So round up some good friends, head down to The Sands and kick back and relax with a selection of stylish weekend-closing grooves, and exciting give-aways courtesy of Doritos.
The busy and in-demand DJ Tira is no stranger to radio and club audiences, thanks to his solo projects as well as a range of collaborations with the likes of Professor, Teargas, L’vovo and Big Nuz.
Fellow Durbanites and “kings of kwaito” Big Nuz – consisting of members Jojo (aka Mampintsha), Mzi (aka Danger) and Sbu (aka R Mashesha) – are also on the bill, as is Pietermaritzburg-born DJ and rapper P-Kuttah.
Also catch DJ C-live, also known as Clive Tshabalala, who has built a devoted following with his shows on YFM and 5FM, plus hip-hop head Naked DJ (Quinton Masina), who is a firm weekend favourite among METRO FM listeners. Rounding off a chillaxed afternoon of sublime vibes will be Major League and Benny Maverick, as the party winds down to a close at around 10pm.
