Yonda Thomas Ties The Knot

Yonda Thomas is a South African actor who has been in the entertainment industry for more than a decade. In his illustrious career, he has had roles in some of the country’s biggest box office hits including Seriously Single, The Jakes Are Missing and Mrs Right Guy.

In December 2021, the star asked his girlfriend Taz if she could be his wife and she said yes, taking to social media after being engaged, an excited Taz wrote, “It’s been a rollercoaster! We’ve clashed many times ( like many times). We’ve disliked each other many times. We’ve fought many times. We’ve had many ugly moments that we don’t post about. But each time we’ve learned a lesson that has strengthened our relationship & that’s what matters.”

She then went on to explain how they are perfect for each other even though they are complete opposites, “my point is that we have nothing in common but we relate on one thing & that is the unconditional love we have for one another.”

Yonda also took to his Instagram to share a picture of his fiance with her engagement ring showing. The smitten actor did not say much, he just added the date of their engagement as the caption.

It seems like the star and his partner have opted for a short engagement. The pair who have been engaged for less than five months recently tied the knot. Taking to Instagram, the Generations – The Legacy actor, shared snaps of him and his bride dressed in traditional Xhosa regalia. Again, the actor did not say much, he just shared the date of their wedding date.

Weddings are in full swing in Mzansi. Just this year, a number of celebrities have tied the knot, most recently Denise Zimba, the starlet said, ‘I do’ in a fairytale ceremony in Cape Town this past Saturday.

Taking to Instagram after her big day, Denise penned a heartfelt note, “To God I give thanks and Glory … for this beautiful day … Glory to thee for blessing me with a man so kind and gentle and abundantly loving! Glory to thee for shining grace and light to all who are here to celebrate jakob and my union, i thank you!,” she wrote in part. Take a look at the heartwarming post below:

The wedding which was the talk of the town was a star-studded event that was attended by her famous friends and family. Guest included Pearl Modiadie, Lorna Maseko, Zola Nene, and Sihle Ndaba.

Another starlet who got married this past weekend is Faith Nketsi, the former dancer turned reality star married her boyfriend in a traditional ceremony.
