The radio personality has once shared in an interview with Mac G and Sol Phenduka on Podcast And Chill’s Celebrity interview episode that access is the biggest thing she’s about as a parent. “I feel like you should do things for your kids, have experiences with them. Take them to see things that they feel are out of their realm,” she said. She continued admitting that that was done for her growing up which resulted to her career choice today. “The fact that I was running around the SABC when I was 7, and was running around radio stations when I was 8 and 12… although it’s not like a call I made then that I was going to be a broadcaster, but I realised it wasn’t out of my reach. There are many kids who sit there and watch TV and are like, “how did those people get there?” you know?”
One user compared Anele’s parenting style to that of Mamkhize in a tweetthat read, “All moms should aspire to give their kids the world like how Anele is doing with Alakhe and Mamkhize with andile.” Another one said, “The life Anele is giving to her son Alakhe is so adorable maarn. She is good at this.”
