Amanda Du Pont

It’s that time of the month when magazines reveal their new cover stars! And, let us tell you that from what we’ve seen, we’re impressed!

Bonnie Mbuli on True Love

How stunning is Bonnie Mbuli’s cover? We cannot get over how breathtakingly beautiful this woman is.

The media personality has been in the entertainment industry for 25 years. We cannot wait to grab ourselves a copy of the magazine to hear her thoughts on this huge milestone.

A few weeks ago, the Afternoon Express presenter took to Instagram to open up about her journey. She wrote: “So... it’s been a 25 year love affair, when I started out at the tender age of 13, I had no idea I’d still be here, going strong and still feeling like I’ve only just begun. Thing is, in this process of dreaming, striving, failing and getting up again, and remembering the dreaming again, i didn’t realize till recently that the destination is not a place, a role or the ultimate career move, the destination is myself, the dream is me, the best part was coming home to me, discovering that it’s me I’m looking for, I AM the blessing.”

Amanda du-Pont on Glamour

Not only was she recently named as one of Glamour’s Most glamorous women, but she has also graced the latest cover of the magazine.

As you know, Amanda has had quite a big year. You don’t need us to remind you about that epic marriage proposal, right? We don’t doubt that the bride-to-be has so much more in store for her fans this year!

Simphiwe Dana on Destiny

The singer and songwriter looks beautiful on the cover of Destiny magazine.

She is quoted as saying, “Be a diva! It means you deliver in a big way.” That line alone is enough for us to go out there and grab a copy.

Baby Mamas cast on Bona

The cast of new South African movie Baby Mamas is on the cover of Bona magazine. They include Dineo Ranaka, Salamina Mosese and Thembisa Mdoda.

In the mag, the actresses chat about working together and how women are in charge of telling their stories. Directed by Stephina Zwane, the film has been screened at the Toronto Black Film Festival and at the Durban International Film Festival.

Don’t worry, we’ll be grabbing a copy of each one of these mags and give you the lowdown on what these stars are up to.
