In September, Jackie Phamotse released three kids books titled Liwa via her Instagram page. The books are targeted at kids between the age of five and 10 years. Part of the caption of the post explained why she chose to write for children: 

“This kids book series was written with great heart and consideration. Why do we forget about kids? Their voices and struggles? Kids experience depression too, they go through body image challenges and bullying. These books address these topics in a language they understand. The stories are carefully constructed to heal them and give them a safe haven. Kids need voices too! They need to feel understood and loved.”
