Commenting under his post, Amanda du-Pont also shared her experience ND said she too was double-crossed by the company.

Back in 2018, Amanda collaborated with Adidas for their Spring/Summer campaign where they revived a series that debuted in the ’70s to add colour to a new generation.

Their campaign, #ADICOLOR was a collaboration with Amanda and photographer and creative director, Trevor Stuurman.

Under Ye's post, Amanda told her side of the story on what happened with the deal.

She said she demanded an increase in her fee but she got told that she was only needed to win over the black market in Mzansi.

“They used me as an ambassador and consultant for years. When I demanded my value and increase in fee, they said we needed you to win over the black buyers market in SA, and we feel we’ve reached those goals.

“And went on to still use my images after the deal ended with no usage fees discussion or payment. They use us to be a vibe and be drippy. But forget who made them that way. I can’t bring myself to wear the brand since.

Amanda then went on to add that she commends the rapper for being able to speak out whereas she was too afraid to, because the battle felt bigger than her.

“Sadly we can never win against big corporates who use us for our creativity-only way is to become one ourselves. I really commend you for speaking out. Personally was too afraid too and the battle felt bigger than me. I support you for standing up for what’s right and giving all creatives a voice”.

Amanda has since deleted the images from her Instagram, but Adidas still has them.

Amanda has been using her voice for the good lately. As a victim of gender based violence, Amanda supported Sithelo who also revealed she was allegedly abused by her baby daddy, Andile Mpisane.

Amanda said she 100% backs the DJ, “I’m behind you, mama! Enough is enough! This is happening way too much. You owe nobody silence. If you didn’t have this proof, the world would say you are lying. This is our sad reality,” she wrote.

Sithelo shook the internet with her Allegations.

"I am not one to speak about anything concerning my private life. More especially where my kids are involved. But everyone has a breaking point and this narrative has gone too far. I have been silent for far too long and hid my truth for the sake of my peace but today I will not be silenced."

“Let’s start with when I was beaten into a pulp and had a miscarriage at the hands of my so-called “victim” in a room full of his family and friends. Rushed to the nearest hospital and treated like nothing ever happened," she claimed.

“Or should I speak about the beatings I’d get every week or monthly followed by a bunch of flowers so I would never speak up," she added.
