We've all watched (some with broken hearts) as gqom darling, Babes Wodumo repeatedly put her music career in jeopardy.

The West Ink Records first lady has had tongues wagging and social media "cancelling" her for many reason in recent months. Apart from the video that went viral earlier this year, which saw her [former] partner and boss Mampintsha physically abusing her, the Wololo hitmaker has not received much sympathy from social media users for her shenanigans. She was called out by many when she and her abuser, Mampitsha, along with DJ Tira made a track about the incident.

Since then, her life has spiralled out of control. She has been seen attacking many artists on social media, and completely blaming it on a hacker. Her Bonnie & Clyde tour was also not well received.

Babes has been going through the most and seems to be still going through it.

According to Daily Sun, the musician and dancer owes a cab driver money. Sboniso Ngcobo, who drove the musician and her sister Nondumiso Simelane from Westville, Durban, to an event hosted by Dladla Mshunqisi at Wiseman’s Car Wash in KwaMashu last Tuesday, says that they requested two trips but never paid him.

Sboniso says that when they arrived at the car wash Babes asked that he takes them elsewhere: "She complained she wasn’t wearing makeup and her nails weren’t done. They asked me to drive them to Mayville instead.

"They said they didn’t have cash on them. They even asked me to lend them R50 for newspapers and groceries," he explained.

The sisters apparently owe Sboniso R500 (which includes another trip to Ushaka Marine World that Nondumiso requested on the day) and an extra R50 for "newspapers and groceries".

"When I called Nondumiso last Wednesday asking for payment, she promised to do it that day,” said Siboniso.

His attempts to contact the Simelane sisters have failed as they do not pick up the phone or reply to his messages.
