DJ Black Coffee is set to appear in Randburg Magistrate Court as the court will hear a cease and desist order he brought against social media activist Ntlamulo Baloyi who is popularly known as Nota. Black Coffee and Nota have been entangled in a social media argument where Nota accused Black Coffee of sending police to harass him after they had a disagreement recently. Nota allegedly had his phone taken away from him and then arrested for reckless driving and assaulting a police officer. However, Black Coffee, therefore, accused Nota of defamation after he allegedly called him an abuser.

It’s no secret that Black Coffee and Nota are in no good terms, but nonetheless when Nota received a cease and desist order from Black Coffee's lawyers he apologized to Black Coffee. However, his apology was followed by harsh words which he later edited out.
Fakaza shared a part of Nota’s apology which read: “As for your claim that I defamed your character I’m sorry to break it to you but it wasn’t me. Your skeletons will come tumbling out the closet and you won’t be able to single handedly stop that. Apologies again and Happy Easter I hope all your children are gifted with your presence and not just presents. Who knows maybe you can start being a exemplary father at 45!”

Also, in a conversation with a local news site called Everything SA, Nota called Black Coffee his number one suspect. He said he found it coincidental that he got released after receiving the order, "I can put two and two together," he said.
Even though he was not sure who sent the cops at him, Nota went and applied for a protection order against those cops who assaulted him, as well as Black Coffee, “Those same cops threatened to arrest me again today and I’m applying for a protection order against them and Black Coffee too. I want his phone records monitored. I’m also taking this matter up with the minister of police!”
