Isn't it fun being famous? Well, no, in fact it isn't at times. Just ask our boy, Black Coffee. The last 6-8 months haven't been a lot of fun for the house DJ and today is probably one of those days that he'd prefer to stay in bed with the covers over his head. The media can be ruthless and Drum Magazine are in no mood to change that attitude this week after putting Black Coffee's latest scandal on their front page. The reason? He's apparently cheating (Again!!) and they've managed to speak to his alleged mistress.
Ya ne, you can't get away with anything in this country; people are ALWAYS speculating (Just ask KO) and when one of your secret mistresses decides she's bored with the boring life of keeping quiet, you WILL be exposed. We saw it last year, in October in fact, when model, Pheladi Makhola, decided she was fed up with being a side dish and decided to spil the beans on her alleged affair with Black Coffee. She then went a bit crazy and started stalking his wifey, Mbali Mlotshwa and demanding money to keep quiet. Considering what happened afterwards, we're pretty sure she didn't get paid.
Black Coffee must stop finding side chicks at clubs. Azikho right eziway zakhe.— Siba (@sibamaliwa) May 23, 2014
You'd think Black Coffee would learn from his mistake but he clearly hasn't and this morning the rumour mill is in full flow with talk and allegations of his newest affair. Drum Magazine are running with the story after putting him (and his new mistress) on their cover. We don't know her name (Yet!) and other than the quote on the drum cover, nobody is entirely sure what she's saying to the press. All we know is that we'd hate to be Black Coffee right now!
We're a little disheartened by the fact that married men (whether famous or not) are finding cheating more and more acceptable. We know that affairs and side chicks have been happening since the dawn of time; but it's reaching a point of near-acceptability in society these days.
If this turns out to be true, we suspect that Black Coffee will be in a lot of trouble. It's bad enough being caught, but having the whole country talking about it is another thing altogether. BC needs to stop going after these crazy, attention hungry girls because it's clearly not working out for him. Better yet, why not stick to your gorgeous, talented and loyal wife, eh?
What do you think of this latest Black Coffee scandal? Do you believe Drum's allegations?
