Today, Bonang announced that she won the case against ESAM podcaster Rea Gopane. Initially, she wanted R500 000 from him but revealed that she would be getting R300 000 from him. Bonang is in celebratory mode in deed and so are her fans.
You would think Rea is sulking or feeling very down after the news broke, but nope! The podcaster maintains that he has no time for Bonang and called her a "delusional woman."
Rea Gopane also did speak about her earlier this week after Bonang wished him good luck. He said he does not her good luck, "The incomparable Bonang Matheba is still mad she took a shot and missed last year. Thanks but I don’t need your good luck. See you soon mom."
In the lawyer letters sent to Rea via social media, Bonang denied introducing AKA to cocaine and all the other things he accused her of.
"On Sunday 9 May 2021 you falsely and unlawfully accused Bonang Matheba in a widely published video clip of, inter alia, having introduced AKA (Kieman Jarryd Forbes) to cocaine. In the context of what was being discussed in the video clip this defamatory allegation was exacerbated by the shocking insinuation that the death of AKA's girlfriend Anele (Nellie) Tembe was due to AKA's alleged use of cocaine.
"The allegations were defamatory, hurtful and were deliberately intended to humiliate my client and undermine her reputation. The allegations are also, to your knowledge false. Your false utterances are compounded by the fact that at the time of making them on a public platform, you knew full well that these utterances would be widely viewed given my client's high public profile."
He was then instructed to apologise, which he did, but his actions thereafter where not of an apologetic person. He dug his grave deeper by continuously speaking about Bonang by saying she should come back from the States because her plans failed, he even rejoiced when it was alleged that Bonang does not own House Of BNG.
Rea is not only in trouble with Bonang but he also made regarding the passing of his friends Killer Kau and Mpura.
"The entire entertainment industry looked passed the fact that JazziQ sacrificed Killer Kau and Mpura...for the betterment of his career," alleged Rea. "The day after they died, he went to Ghana..." said Rea then his co-host Blvck Steph, asked him "so you think the ritual was done there." Rea then added, "I'm just saying, we are not reading between the lines...the sacrifice is right there and everybody missed it."
