DJ Shimza has once again landed on Black Twitters bad side with his latest tweets. The DJ's beef with Black Twitter is not looking to die down anytime soon as this has become a yearly thing where they make him trend for the wrong reasons.

Shimza who has been booked and busy for almost all of 2021 has gained popularity with his shows which put a lot of undiscovered and discovered DJs on the map.
You might think that such a person would be a fan favourite but with Shimza, he gets dragged almost every month.
The reason he is trending just 7 days into the year is because he tweeted about wanting his helper to come back because he is out of clean socks. Now, you might wonder how is this such a bad thing because it is her job to do the laundry and she does not wash the clothes with her hands. But the manner in which he said it made people think he makes her do "odd jobs" such as washing his underwear too.
When asked about that, Shimza laughed and said yes, but one cannot tell if he was being sarcastic or not. Replying to a tweep who said it is not good for helpers to wash people's socks, he said, "Thatβs her job, Iβm sure sheβs not embarrassed by it."
In his defense, Shimza asked if people's helpers do not wash their socks or not but the insults just kept on coming. His biggest foe, Mmusi Maimane told him he is old enough to wash his own socks. Tweeps told Shimza to let his helper rest and wash his own socks till she comes back. It is weird to even speak about that publicly, Shimza.
He responded and said he will not throw his socks in the washing machine because he does not like doing laundry and he will not do it. Shimza then mocked the people trolling him for not doing his own laundry and called them crazy. Shimza is currently under investigation for corruption after his restaurant Hang Awt received a tender to host the ministerial cookoff with Somizi Mhlongo last year.
The South African tourism industry hosted a cookout with Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane and media personality and "chef" Somizi Mhlongo.
Sowetan Live reported last month that the Public Service Commission (PSC) reportedly has launched an investigation to look into how Shimza got awarded the R150 000 tender.
Somizi declined to disclose how much he was paid and Shimza also refrained from answering questions about whether or not he applied for the tender. He has now been known as a beneficiary of corruption and he occasionally jokes about that.
Shimza also got dragged for mocking people who always say the new year is their year. The responses under his tweet were from people who thought he said that from a point of privilege. One of the responses was, "Yes, we're not beneficiaries of corruption kalok."
Shimza clarified what he meant by his tweet and said, "My advise for 2022 and beyond, turn this into βThis day is my dayβ so that when you fail today, you try again tomorrow and not wait till next year."
