Most viewers initially thought that Gugu was bored with the entire show but Tira explained that she was only pointing thumbs down at a remark Somizi made about Mabala Noise.
DJ Tira addressed the matter after one of his followers commented about Gugu's behavior at the award show.
On Monday, Mafikizolo also went out to defend Gugu and put her in a positive light after South Africans had dragged her on social media.
