DJ Tira has been labelled a vaccine influencer as he is actively involved in getting people to get vaccinated. Every time Makoya Bearings posts something that has to do with the vaccine on social media, he is accused of working with the government to push the vaccine and get people to trust in them.

This all started when DJ Tira "forced" his fans to vaccinate if they want to attend his Fact Durban Rocks festivals, which usually take place in December. In a tweet where he vaccinates for the first time, he urged fans and festival goers to vaccinate against the coronavirus.
βFact Durban Rocks December 2021. No vaccine card. No Entry.β he wrote. After receiving backlash, he then asked why are people scared of injections, "Why you so scared of umjovo."
DJ Tira then stopped urging people on Twitter to vaccinate for a while, but then took to Instagram to encourage them. "Get vaccinated. Remember you are not forced, it's your choice."
Just recently, he ruffled feathers once again when he took to Twitter to announce that he has received his second dose of the vaccine and is proud. He said he officially joined the 5G crew and asked the theorists to bring in their theories he wants to indulge in them.
He then shared another Tweet about the growing number of vaccines administered, saying people are all talk but the number keep growing.
Tira told the people who keep on saying he is a vaccine influencer to show him proof that he did get paid to promote the vaccine, he will pay them R10 000.
A few days ago, Malume got dragged for performing at a gig at Cosmopolitan Lounge which was fully packed and there were no masks in sight. Tweeps wanted him to get arrested but he slammed trolls and said he had nothing to do with the packed venue as he is not the owner.
"While (you are) yap yapping about my name don't forget I don't own a venue, I'm a Dj I get booked to come and perform, get paid and go home. Be responsible and remove yourself from places that may be a danger to your health. Makoya Bearings #RockstarForever 21 Years of greatness."
Another ZAleb who got vaccinated was Kelly Khumalo and she said she could not feel her lady parts. βYou know when they say, straight talk doesnβt break any friendship? Me I am like this. So, last week I went for my vaccination for Covid-19. I get there, they are telling me that maybe Iβm going to experience a slight headache, maybe my arm will be in pain.β She continued.
βNo problem. But they didnβt mention that certain parts of my body will not be functioning properly. You know I am not feeling anything down under. Is it me or is it just the repercussions of the vaccine? I just need to understand. She is not the same.β
