When a Tweep suggested that, it would be fantastic to have internationally acclaimed actors, Pearl Thusi and Idris Elba star as lead roles in a film - many were excited by this wishful thinking, including Pearl!
Remember the classic film, Mr and Mrs Smith, starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? Now imagine having a remake of it, starring our very own Pearl Thusi and Idris Elba. That would be awesome! *crossing fingers*
Working alongside Hollywood's biggest names wouldn't be a first for Pearl Thusi. The 32 year old was part of the star studded cast of international drama series, Quantico. Which cemented her a spot in the international realm.
The mother of two is currently doing the most on Netflix's first African drama series, Queen Sono. Although her previous work has received mostly positive reviews, her sterling performance on Queen Sono attracted applauds and admiration from American actress, Gabriel Union and many other news sites and magazines.
Hopefully the powers that can make this film happen!
