Sure, everyone deserves a chance at love. But the way Chad and Kelly have been so open about their relationship to the public, it's making us is a bit suspicious.
For the past year or so, Kelly has been working hard at building her music career and staying clear of any drama that might disturb her hustle.
Even in recent interviews, Kelly has made it clear that any questions about her private life were a no-go zone, especially if it involved her kids.
Some of her social media posts even alluded to the assumption that she had little to no interest in being in a relationship.
However, in recent weeks, Kelly and Chad have gone full throttle in publicising how they're so much in love with each other, even to such an extent that they also posted a video sharing a kiss.
Quite surprising considering that ever since Senzo Meyiwa's passing, Kelly has become super private about her relationships.
Look, we might be completely wrong here, maybe Kelly and Chad are an item, and perhaps they do dig each other. But ever since Kelly shared behind the scenes pictures from her Dance Comigo video shoot, which features Chad, they've begun doing the most on social media.
Our local artists have been quite aware of the power of PR stunts which sometimes do work to their advantage.
Remember when Priddy Ugly and Bontle Modisele made the rest of Mzansi believe that they were engaged, only to find out that it was a publicity stunt for La Sauce's single, I Do?
Gigi Lamayne took the same route when she hinted that she's engaged, only to find out a few days later that she was gearing up to release for video for her single, Lobola.
If this is a PR stunt by Chad and Kelly to keep the public and the media speaking about them, then their stunt is clearly working. But if this relationship is legit, then good for them.
