Kelly Khumalo is livid with the South African Police Services for their failure to arrest any suspects in connection with the murder of Senzo Meyiwa.

Khumalo shared her thoughts in an outspoken interview with eNCA on Friday morning where she was not only promoting her new single, but speaking on her ex-boyfriend.

Senzo Meyiwa was murdered in Kelly Khumalo's presence during what we believe to be a robbery gone wrong back in 2014. From what we know, armed robbers broke into Kelly's mother's home in Vosloorus in a bid to rob the residents, and when Senzo tried to defend the victims, the robbers shot him, fatally.

However, this October will mark 5 years since that tragic day and even to this year no arrests have been made. Kelly expressed her dissatisfaction with SAPS investigation into this murder case when she said:

"I don't know why police have not found the perpetrators. There were fingerprints. A hat (belonging to one of the armed men) was found. There were witnesses."

Despite being one of few witnesses on the day, Kelly claims that the police have been failing Senzo in their attempts to find his killers. She also hints that she could have done a better job:

"Senzo was loved. It doesn't make sense to me. I would know those men anywhere. The two that I saw, I would know them if I saw them."

She ended her interview off by claiming that she had absolutely no faith in the South African justice system.

"The law is failing us. I don't understand why they have not found those people. There are fingerprints."

Attempts to identify Senzo's killers have hit multiple dead ends. From initial investigations, to conspiracy theories, we have looked close to finding the culprits, but nearly 5 years later we are no closer to discovering who killed the Bafana Bafana #1.

Police minister, Bheki Cele, boldly promised to find Senzo's killers "By Easter", saying:

"I'm putting my head on the block on this. I still maintain that the matter is going to be resolved in the not very distant future ... Definitely it will be before Christmas, even before Easter that matter will have to be resolved,"

In a bid for the truth, Senzo's cousin, Siyabonga Meyiwa, has been protesting outside the SAPS offices in Durban:

Do you think we will ever catch Senzo Meyiwa's killers?
