The untimely and shocking death of Khaya Dlanga's brother, Nganga has been a major blow to his family. This week Khaya has been penning emotional posts, and tributes remembering him since his passing last Friday.
Today, Khaya decided to break his silence in a long and heartwrenching post, opening up about what led to his brother's death.
The author created awareness and said decided to set the records straight after many people, have been speculating about the cause of his brother's death.
Khaya encouraged the masses to be honest with themselves and said to men: "There is no shame in admitting our weaknesses. The truth is none of us is strong, We are al weak and we need help."
The author made some shocking revelations that his brother's death was sparked by online gambling, that he battled with for some time. He said mental health is a silent, but deadly killer.
Khaya said the last few months with his brother, have been very turbulent and Nganga battled more with his addiction.
The author emotionally revealed that his brother took his own life last Friday: "Nganga took medication that was prescribed to me and ingested all of it. He was in tremendous pain, and a friend of his took him to a hospital where On Friday afternoon, his life ended."
