The Real Housewives of Durban has returned with the first episode of its much anticipated third season. A season which many are still apprehensive about following the many exits of housewives from the second season. This included main cast members LaConco and Londie London.
Moreover, with LaC exiting the show, it meant that friend of the show Mabusi Seme was not returning to the show either. A fact which in light of the first episode, fans have raised the matter that they would have loved to have Mabusi return in the new season.
Mabusi's presence missed on RHOD
Mabusi being top of mind following the first episode of the Real Housewives of Durban could have everything to do with the fact that her name was mentioned in the episode. This was done by newly introduced housewife Slee when they were calling out JoJo for her deplorable behaviour against Mabusi back in season two.

LaConco's relationship status has been a hot topic lately as the ladies wanted to know more about Petal. The ex-fiancé of former president Jacob Zuma was not keen to speak about her relationship with Petal.
She left them hanging with no answers. Mabusi tried to explain where LaConco was coming from and why she hasn't been sharing much about Petal, but it ended in premium tears.
A profanity-laced exchange ensued between her and Jojo- who was interrupting her from clearing the air. The exchange even saw Mabusi calling Jojo a spoiled brat. Jojo eventually stood up and threw a drink at her and hell broke loose.
As such, when the matter was rehashed, many viewers believed that Mabusi deserved to be cast as a main housewife due to her season two treatment.

However, the matter of Mabusi not returning to RHOD was a matter that the now former reality star addressed ahead of the season when she revealed her body transformation and fans believed that she was teasing her storyline for the then upcoming season.
But Mabusi set the record straight with her official statement which was reported as:
Mabusi Seme was introduced as a friend of the showback during the first season of the show. Initially, she was introduced as the friend to main cast member Nonku Williams. However, Nonku was quick to suggest that she does not know Mabusi during the first season.
Following her post, fans who fell in love with her through RHOD were quick to ask the question on everyone’s mind in light of the exit of Londie London, Thobile Mkhize and LaC which was, “Is she going to return to the reality show?” Mabusi confirmed that she was not going to return to the series.
