The actor and model has been called all kinds of names you can think of since Mzansi learned of his relationship, with his now estranged husband Somizi. He has been called a gold digger, a heist, and an opportunist with many social media users claiming he married Somizi due to his wealth.
Mohale recently posted a picture of him looking dapper in an all-black outfit, and one Twitter user commented on the tweet and called him a heist. The actor did not let it slide, he decided to let his fingers do the talking for him.
He even went as far as involving the Twitter users mother saying " A heist is your mother," hectic.
Mohale rubbished claims that he is a gold digger before and he likes luxurious things and Somizi is the one who introduced him to the soft life.
“Look I don’t really think I’m a gold digger, but I like nice things and I met him, he likes nice things and introduced me to a bigger lifestyle of nicer things,” said Mohale. The couple called it quits in 2019. In the beginning, the couple insisted they hadn't broken up and were just going through a rough time.
However, last year an audio recording was leaked of Mohale making some wild accusations against Somizi. He accused him of being abusive and having some wild sexual fantasies. “I took my keys and walked out, he took a knife. I was about to exit, so he said to me, ‘if you exit… I’m going to kill us both.’ So I took my keys and ran. He grabbed the knife and said ‘if you walk out, I’m going to stab you.’ Now I see a different person. I was sh*t scared and walked back into the house. He said ‘let’s talk.’ He cried and we moved on,” said Mohale in the audio.
He revealed that Somizi had asked him to return his ring after their break up, so he sought advice from a lawyer, who is his father's friend. Due to the traditional marriage the couple had, the lawyer told him they were automatically married in community property.
"According to customary law in South Africa, because we stayed together and had a traditional wedding we are automatically married in community of property,” explained Mohale.
In addition, he claimed that Somizi damaged his car when he apparently bumped it off the road. “The only thing I want from Somizi is for him to get me a car because he bumped my car and I just want my clothes, that's it,” he continued.
“Also he didn’t want us to sign because he probably also had ideas that I want to marry him for his money, but he also didn’t know that by us having a traditional wedding we are automatically married in community of property,” continued Mohale.
