Oscar Mbo's Mess Cleaned Up

But he is not off the hook yet

A Tweep that came forward yesterday claiming that the award-winning artist Oscar Mbo scammed him has finally received his money. But Oscar is not off the hook yet as more scam allegations against him surfaced.

@DeejayArchieSA recently shared an update on Twitter thanking tweeps for their efforts in assisting him to get his money back.

"They just refunded me, Thank you all for the comments and making sure this trends, ka leboga," he tweeted.

Tweeps have since taken to the comments section to react. Kabelo fired more shots at Oscar and his team saying, "The level of disrespect from that bunch, so u had to apologize to Ur clients that paid money to come see someone and all they could do is cancel a day before unprofessional I can't imagine what this did to Ur brand."

@Phumelo1804 acknowledged the power of Twitter: "I don’t think we talk enough on how Twitter is powerful and helpful. Glad to hear that they refunded you brother."

Meanwhile, after revealing that he has received the money, @DeejayArchieSA said someone took chances and tried to scam him

"This guy wanted to finish me off, they saw the amount of money I posted and tried to scam me, pretending to be the owner of max lifestyle in Durban .people are cruel am sure kwa max lifestyle doesn't know anything about this," he shared.

Yesterday Oscar Mbo joined the trending topics after @DeejayArchieSA called him out for a "no show." He revealed that he had booked Oscar to perform at one of his events in December. He said he had agreed with Oscar's management and paid a booking fee for him to play at his gig on 28 December 2021 but Oscar did not show up.

"OK I booked Oscar Mbo last year December through his manager Yolisa, I paid them the full amount according to our agreement. Ok, Oscar didn't pitch ka di 28 December. I am still waiting for a refund even now. He blocked my calls and his manager is not taking my calls. I need a refund," he tweeted.

On a now-deleted tweet, he also revealed that Oscar's management sent him a text on the day that he was supposed to perform telling him that they experienced a lot of inconveniences and would not be able to make it. The management promised @DeejayArchieSA a two-hour set on another day but they never honoured the promise.

Another Tweep also revealed that Oscar pulled a "no show" after he was fully paid 20K back in October. @i_amkabzar said they also want a refund.

"Oscar Mbo is failing to pay a refund of R20k for an event he was booked for in October 2021. He started acting strange after he was paid the full amount. Yoland his manager started not returning calls or responding to WhatsApp texts right after they got paid the full amount," he tweeted also  asking other Twitter users to help them expose Oscar and his team "for being scammers and pay the money they owe to people"

Oscar has since been dragged on Twitter and called out as more people accuse him of scam.
