Real Housewives of Durban star Annie Ludick Mthembu has issued an apology following this week's episode of the show.
This week the wives were invited to the new castmate Jojo Robinson’s house where they were required to decorate cakes. Each had to randomly pick a photo and decorate a cake according to her own description of the person on the photo.
Annie had picked Laconco's picture, and her decoration was a mess. Taking to Instagram, the businesswoman issued an apology to Laconco saying she had good intentions.
"I won’t lie I’m so shitty at domestic tasks (like cake decorating) but put me in a boardroom and you’ll see magic 🤭😅 I'm sorry LaC 😭😭😭 I swear I had good intentions it just didn’t translate 😪"
She added, " I really have so much more respect for people who bake those gorgeous and artistic cakes, it’s really a skill I used to undermine. And honestly, my spiciness is not more than my competitiveness. I really like winning wayyy more. So this was a blow to me."
Reacting to the cake on the show, Laconco who was also not impressed with Annie's decoration said it refected her (Annie) energy.
Annie has not been the viewers' favorite since the first season. She was recently called out for being a hypocrite. Read More: Annie Called Out For Being A Hypocrite
Meanwhile, another one of the wives who has not been very popular on the show is Nonku Williams. The reality TV star has received a lot of backlash on social media. She recently took to Instagram to address the backlash.
She said, "The 20% of my life that people see on screens think entitles them to make judgments and conclusions about my life is beyond me and their level of reasoning. I can only conclude this by saying it’s a reflection of who they are and how they perceive themselves."
She added that she will not allow herself to be a victim of cyberbullying, "For a long time I have kept quiet and not responded to some of the most insinuating comments on social media but it’s time I speak up.
"I have a voice and as long as I have breath in my body I will never stop speaking and saying enough is enough..enough of cyberbullying, and people thinking they are entitled to someone’s life they know nothing about.
The Drama Queen Of The Year nominee continued her rant sharing that she has a family that loves her, and that's what is important to her. She also extended her gratitude to those who love and support her.
"I’m loved, blessed, and highly favoured woman of The Most High God! I’m blessed with 3 amazing beautiful children. I have siblings and parents that love me unconditionally. I’m a respected businesswoman and work very hard to provide for my family.
"For those that love, understand and support me I thank you and am grateful to you, and those that don’t I thank you as you serve as a reminder that helps my faith grow stronger in The Lord," Nonku said on Instagram.
