Letoya painted a grim picture of how the events unfolded and said there is even a video where Tshepo's mother asks him to get an ax so he could allegedly assault Lebo, her wife.
She even attached a letter sent by the Leeuw's to her late uncle which tells a series of events which unfolded between Letoya and Tshepo.
Now, Sello has offered words of comfort to the couple saying he feels so helpless. He said he and his wife Pearl Maake KaNcube both love and them and that their marriage is inspired by them.
"My marriage came out of your beautiful union! It’s so sad to watch what’s happening to you guys and one feels so helpless. I need you guys to know that we care and we know how solid your love for one another is and never lose sight of the real thing you share!"
He said he is happy that they are putting on a united front, "It gives many hope to see how you guys are there for one another! You truly understood what they meant by through thick and thin! Sending love from myself and Pearl Maake kaNcube we love you guys!"
Letoya responded by thanking the thespian for their phone call to them, "Thank you so much Ntate Sello. The last thing that you should feel is helpless. Your phone call to us along with your wife lifted our spirits in the most unimaginable way. May God bless you and yours and may you always have the strength to lift us when we’re down."
This is the letter Letoya shared.
Letoya confirmed that she and Lebo were indeed assaulted by the Leeus's following Daily Sun's article.
“Yes, what you’ve all read in the Daily Sun today is true. My ex Tshepo Leeuw and his family assaulted me and my wife Lebo Makhene-Pulumo because she refused to take a plastic bag that he was sending my son home with consisting of; 5 pack noodles, 5 apples, 5 pears, 5 bananas and a box of tinkies.
"He lies and claims he’s supporting my son and he’s not. If anything he took a loan from me and owes me money. He hasn’t paid one cent for our child ever since he was born," she said.
In the letter, she said she takes care of her child which costs her R8500 per month so she does not need the small grocery items given to her by the Leeuw's, "My child costs me about R8500 a month. Not one cent from these people and they badly assaulted my Wife because she refused to take a packet of 5 noodles, 5 pears, 5 apples, 5 banana, and 10 slices of processed cheese," she wrote.
