Also, the mother of Sbahle and Andile Mpisane has created waves as the co-owner of the PSL soccer team AM Royal FC. Given all that she has achieved it seems that Mamkhize is ready to tell her life story in her own words if her latest post is anything to go by.
Shauwn Mkhize is writing a book
Recently, taking to Instagram, Mamkhize announced her latest venture. This is as she confirmed that she has authored a book titled My World, My Rules. Currently, it is unclear what the actual premise of the book is. Specifically, whether the book is going to be an autobiography or a self-help book sharing tips on the trade in order to succeed in business as she has.
Despite the confusion as to what the premise of the book, it seems that Mamkhize is already getting ready for the promotional trail for the book. This is as she took to Instagram to confirm that despite the week she has had, she is ready to start promoting her book.
Other popular or contentious books written by black female ZAlebs include:
Bonang Matheba
Back in 2017 Bonang Matheba diversified her brand when she added the title of “author” when she published her first self-help book titled From A To B. The premise of the book is shared as:
Bonang Matheba has built up her brand, making her face the most recognisable one in South Africa.
Is this a self-help book? Not quite. This is the story of how a girl from Mafikeng in the North West found her face next to that of Halle Berry’s in a worldwide Revlon campaign. The most important lesson from the book, as the subtitle suggests, will be that no one is born made – we all have to work very hard. Much like Bonang did.
While she has given some access into her life through media interviews, Bonang is yet to detail the journey that saw her become a successful, multi-talented businesswoman and TV and radio personality. This book will be a look into Bonang’s life that she has never made public.
Bonnie Mbuli
In 2014, actress Bonnie Mbuli became one of the first black female ZAlebs to release a critical bestselling autobiography of her life with Dimples & Eyebags. A brief description of the book reads:
Eyebags & Dimples is Bonnie’s shockingly naked account of how her depression almost robbed her of her shine and how she continues to fight this darkness. In this searing, unflinchingly honest, book Bonnie recounts the intricate journey that her life has taken her on. But most importantly how her entire life she lived in constant fear of this darkness that made her feel uncertain of whether she was walking towards something or walking away from it…
