Simphiwe Ngema has revealed how she is finally moving on from Dumi Masilela's tragic death.


A period that was meant to be momentous for the newly-wed couple came to a halt just 3 months after tying the knot back in 2017.

Simphiwe's late husband Dumi Masilela was killed in a car hijacking gone wrong, leaving Simphiwe Ngema in immense pain. Now the actress who is going on her third year as a widow has shared a powerful message to her followers on the essence of moving on from a traumatic and heartbreaking experience.

Simz has on numerous occasions attempted to keep her late husband's memory alive. One of the many heart-felt things she's done was releasing music in his honour. Thanda Ngempela saw Simphiwe pouring her heart out and has received raving reviews.

Her positivity throughout her heartbreak has been evident and praised, to the point where she has inspired many other people going through similar ordeals.

She often shares some very powerful messages on hope and her latest one is just as inspiring and uplifting. Taking to Instagram she wrote;

"I’ve let go of what could’ve been and I’m starting to live in what is and making a reality of what could be. It hasn’t been easy but I’ve had to let go of a lot of 'if onlys'. I’ve become the man I wanted to marry and I’ve chosen to accept that he’s not coming back but my life doesn’t have to be stuck in what could’ve been. Here’s to making all my dreams come true."

Simphiwe is ready to get back on her feet and conquer her dreams. On her Instagram she joked about not being ready to go back to work however those dreams won't come true all on their own.
