This comes after Somizi posted a picture of them enjoying their soft life at the Houghton Luxury Apartments. The besties were getting pampered ahead of the release of their single Ntandane, which is dedicated to Somizi's late mom. The single dropped at midnight.
A Twitter user commented on the post and asked which team is Vusi Nova playing for? Somizi clapped back at the tweep and said "I was gonna answer that if the answer was gonna improve yo tekateking (unbalanced) bank balance.
Trolls thereafter posted old snaps of Somizi where he was looking frail slamming him that he has forgotten that he was once broke. Some argued that he got a taste of his own medicine for making fun of the tweep.
Somizi has since come out to address his response to the tweep saying people should take it because he is fed up with Twitter bullies who abuse celebs because they feel entitled about supporting their careers. Somizi said he would rather die poor than to be supported by a fan who will abuse his energy.
This is not the first time Somizi had to clap back at trolls questioning the Naninina hitmaker's sexuality. Somizi recently defended him after a Twitter user said Vusi was stubborn and should come out. The reality show star addressed homophobia by asking trolls what's their obsession with other people's sexuality.
This follows after he posted a series of pictures with Vusi and trolls flooded the post with homophobic tweets. Somizi caught wind of their comments and shuu, he let his fingers do the talking for him.
"angilwi ngiyabuza (I'm not fighting, I'm asking)..what's the obsession with other people's sexuality...its as if the answers will improve a certain aspect of your life....or as if it makes one feel better about themselves if they out someone else....trust me he is content and I hope you are too and enjoy your life," he clapped back
Another tweep weighed in and said some people find the courage to come out of the closet when others do. Somgaga disputed that and simply said people should be comfortable in their own skin otherwise they should just deal with their homophobia.
"...how many people should come out for people to be comfortable with themselves and why should it take that for them to reach that point...do u think if more black people owned land and the world would mean racism will end ...nope...I just think people must deal with their homophobia," he wrote.
Vusi Nova's sexuality has always been questioned by many people especially due to his bromance with Somizi. The two are always giving us glimpses of their friendship goals and when they do tweeps always have questions to ask.
