Zimoja reports that actress and Businesswoman Sonia Mbele's son, Donell Mbele will go out scot free after his former girlfriend Reokeditswe Makete allegedly failed to pitch in court for their GBV case.

It is reported that Reokeditswe failed to show up at the Randburg Magistrates Court on Monday, making this her 5th time.

The GBV case took a shocking twist when Tiyani Vukeya, Donell's lawyer told the court that Reokeditswe allegedly admitted to assaulting Donell first who then retaliated.

When this got out in a form a friend, Makete took to Instagram to deny this, “I’m pissed as f***k cause if I really had to speak the truth about the situation yall would be shook!”

"The lies in the fu*ken media! Wooooooooow" exclaimed Reokeditswe Makete.

The friend said Makete is very short tempered in a short statement to ZiMoja,

“We all used to hang at Monte Casino. She does not like it when other girls talk to Donell. She once spat on his face for hugging another hun. He sent a text to say she is starting again. I tried to call but that is when she was swearing at me accusing us of dating, they had no clue I was still listening because Donell did not hang up. I remember him begging her not to touch his face until she bit him on the lip,” the friend told the publication.

“We begged them so many times to leave each other alone, especially after she once called her family and friends claiming that she had been kidnapped, meanwhile she took an Uber to go see him. Donell thought it was just drama. She is a nice girl, but we all know and she knows the truth.”

When this case saw the day of light, Sonia Mbele issued a statement:

"I not only welcomed Reokeditswe Makete into my home but I treated her as a daughter and I worked with her in support of her career in the entertainment industry, and right now I would like to reassure her that she still has my love and full support.

"As a mother I wish she had come to me to inform me on what was going on because finding out on social media broke my heart. I've always been there, I've always been supportive," she added.

"I now realise I should have taken preventative measures much earlier such as counseling and/or child therapy, but sometimes the mistake we tend to make as African single mothers is to assume and hope things will work out for the best meanwhile certain past behaviors can affect generations to come. "

"With that said Donell will face his demons and take accountability for his actions and let the law take its course. I refuse to raise a man like his father. Rehab, therapy and internal healing will prevail," she concluded with a thank you note.
