Acclaimed business mogul and global speaker, Vusi Thembekwayo, is topping the Twitter trending list with a video posted earlier the week. The video, which was reposted by Former Mayor of Johannesburg, Herman Mashaba, has been doing the rounds today, 3 July 2020, after he highlighted the profound words stated by Vusi.

The clip, originally posted on Wednesday, 1 July 2020, shows the businessman entering his work place which is completely deserted due to the nationwide lockdown, and blaming the current state of the South African economic industry caused by the government. He stated, “Your stupidity over the past 26 years… you did this! If you had built a country that was inclusive, with an economy that was growing… we could have survived this sh*t!”.

He went on to attack the politicians who prioritised their own earnings ahead of the people of South Africa, and had caused the ripple effect of the economy that we see today. He concluded with, “So excuse me, when for the first time ever on my social media I make the words, F*ck you!”.
