Zolisa Xaluva is one of the stars who is a fan favourite, the star who plays the role of Melusi Dhlamini has been in the entertainment industry for more than a decade and we have seen him display his acting chops on many productions including Generations, The Queen, and Kings of Jozi to name a few.
Earlier today, Sunday World published an article that alleged that Zolisa Xaluva would be leaving the hit show. According to the article, the thespian and the show producers were not seeing 'eye to eye.'
The news of Zolisa leaving came as a complete shock to fans because he has been killing the role of Melusi and he is one of the anchors of the successful show.
The star is currently embroiled in a very interesting storyline on the show, the character that he plays recently called the cops on himself after he supposedly murdered Thati's husband after he held her captive in their home. Zolisa's character (Melusi) and Katlego Danke's character (Thati) are childhood sweethearts who can not get over each other no matter how hard they have tried.
Zolisa is the third lead to leave the show in a short space of time, a couple of months ago, Siya Xaba who played the role of Langa left the show after his character died in a fire. Since leaving the show, fans have been waiting to see where the actor will pop up next.
Another star who left the show is Israel Matseke-Zulu, according to reports, the star who played the role of Don left the show due to a medical condition. According to various reports, the actor is battling a condition called Gangrene and because of it, he had to have one of his legs amputated.
According to an article published in Sunday World, the actor spoke about his healing process at the time, “My brain has not accepted that I don’t have my other leg. I would have recovered a long time ago, but because of the falling, it took a bit of time."
Israel made his first public appearance at Patrick Shai's funeral this year. The thespian was on the program as one of the speakers at the send-off and as soon as fans saw him, they took to their social media pages to wish the star well.
One of the people who has been showing Israel love is Warren Masemola, the pair have worked together on several projects. Taking to Instagram, he sent a sweet message that touched our hearts, " thank God for all the beautiful memories we’ve created and shared since we met 10 years ago on the set of #iNumberNumber," he wrote.
He then went on to write, "You are such a great storyteller, on & off screen. Your life experience, yi film. Your strength, incomparable - I love you"
