According to Sunday World, all details pertaining to Rami's character being chopped emerged when they were given their scripts- that is when Rami found out that her character would be pulled off.

Another incredible talent, Motsoaledi Setumo who plays the character of Mmabatho also exited the show.

Reports by The Sunday World's source revealed that Rami's relationship with the fergusons hit rock bottom after she weighed in on the Vatiswa Ndara's exploitation saga.

The Veteran actress penned an open letter to the Sport, Arts and Culture Minister, Nathi Mthethwa, about what she alleged was the exploitation of actors in the industry; including poor remuneration and the working conditions. Rami supported Vatiswa by pinning a thread on Twitter detailing challenges thespians endure in the industry under the hashtag #SHOWMUSTGOON - a thread she had written months prior.

Although she did not mention the Fergusons in her tweets, it apparently did not sit well with the show's producers as they felt like she was referring to them.

Speaking to Sunday World, the source said, “Her remarks were tactic, and she did not name them, but they are sensitive. They never forgave her since Then, even though she didn't need forgiving. When the new scripts came, it was no surprise for us internally that the Ferguson's have hit back."

Another source further shed some light that the producers were not happy about Rami's actions of intervening on other actors' working hours.

Rami's character is said to be killed after a confrontation with another woman over her affair with Skhumbuzo the source said.

“She is going to hit her with a bottle at Blue Moon, during a confrontation and thereafter Gracious will collapse and die that's how she is going to exit the Soapie."

Rami confirmed her exit on Twitter when she said, "Yes, TGOM’s stint on #TheQueenMzansi has come to an end. Unfortunately, I won’t be getting into details as advised by my legal team. I still have to finish shooting and I’m hoping to execute as excellently, exceptionally and professionally as I always have. #TGOMNATION forever❤️". Thank you for all the well wishes and blessings. It’s been a ride. We keep pushing and working because the #SHOWMUSTGOON no matter what."
Twitter has since been abuzz with the Fergusons topping Twitter trends and fans have put the soapie's producers on blast for allegedly being bullies.
