After leaving Uzalo, Kay exercised his acting muscle by expanding his portfolio and finding new roles on various shows which include The Queen, Imbwewu, and Generations - The Legacy.

Not only is Kay Sibiya one of the most booked actors in South Africa, but he is also a social media influencer that makes money just by posting.

In his personal life, Kay Sibiya is a dad and he often shares glimpses into his life as a dad. The actor who is a sought-after figure in the entertainment industry is taken and he is not afraid to show off his family to his fans.

Kay is not the only actor who is embracing fatherhood, Fezile Makhanya welcomed his first child last year, and taking to Instagram, the very private actor wrote a sweet note to celebrate his firstborn's birth, "I’m filled with so many emotions, but I can’t put them into words. I’ve known of your existence for some time now, but meeting you for the very first time has me looking at life differently. Feelings of joy, excitement, pride & anxiety are an understatement. I’m still in disbelief that you’ve made me uBaba
It’s been a long time coming (excuse the pun ) & I honestly can’t thank God enough," he said.

He then went on to add that he would always be present in his child's life, "What matters is that you’re here now, in my arms, in our arms. I want you to know that uBaba has your back & I will be forever present in your life. There’s a lot that I want to teach you, and a lot that I’d like to learn from you too. Most importantly, know that uBaba loves you VERY VERY much!!,"
