Microwave Boys Cancel YouTube Show

Larry's abuse allegations were the final straw

It's confirmed: The Microwave Boys are no more. YouTube's most energetic trio decided to go their separate ways after they were rocked by news of Larrygintis' apparent abuse.

Mzansi social media was rocked by a damning thread by Larry's girlfriend, Noxie, who opened up about the abuse that she had suffered at his hands (literally and figuratively). Since her emotional thread went viral, many of Mzansi's most influential figures (particularly those closely related to Larry) have slowly boycotted the club promoter and social influencer one by one.

After Taboo, numerous club promoters and some of his colleagues spoke out, all eyes turned to the Microwave Boys to see how the gang would respond to seeing their most famous member dragged for abusing his girlfriend. Amidst mounting pressure to drop him from the team, Sipho led the way and announced his departure from the Microwave Boys.

Shortly after his decision to walk away, the Microwave Boys franchise released a statement declaring:

"All the members of the team behind Microwave Boys namely: Sipho Muchindu, Sphaka Ngonyama, Menzi Mzimela, Lehlonolo Radebe and Lesange Tshoke have all taken the decision to disband the show moving forward. The seriousness of the allegations have eben taken seriously and as a result we want no further association to the accused from this point on. "

All members of the Microwave Boys also took a moment to explicitly support Noxie and her family in the wake of the trauma she experienced. You can read the full statement below.

Do you think the Microwave Boys made the correct decision in canning the show altogether?
