Has Rasta Improved With His Portrait Of Joseph Shabalala?

There seems to be some improvement.

Rasta is popularly known for failing to accurately depict his subjects through his paintings. He usually does portraits of late celebrities and honors the living ones as well.

Throughout his entire career of painting celebs, Lebani Sirenje has painted many late heroes however the one he worked on the late Joseph Shabalala is getting a few thumbs up from people.

The founder of Grammy award winning group Lady Smith Black Mambazo will receiving a state funeral and many have gathered to give him a dignified send-off. Rasta could not let this opportunity pass him by and has picked up his brushed to paint a portrait that has received some mixed reactions.

Social media seems to have 'forgiven' Rasta after his recent fail, which was his depiction of Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi during her homecoming.


Even though his painting has received some negative reviews and heavy backlash from people, others have commended his persistence and shows some signs of improving. It's good to see that not everybody has ganged up on the painter.
