Lootlove Struggles To Move On

Ever since media personality Luthando (Lootlove) Sosha lost her baby brother Lukhanyiso Shosha "Luke" last year October, things have not been the same for her.

She took to Twitter yesterday to express her pain and grief as she learns to carry on living without the light that was her brother.

She said,
 
At the time of his passing, she tweeted, “Light of my life. My heart is in shambles. I love you so so so so damn much. I would do anything, anything to bring you back.”

Lootlove’s tweet prompted tweeps to share their own stories of grief hitting them at random times and places.
 
It is not yet clear what the cause of death was but we can only hope that Luthando wand those close friends will eventually find healing as this is a very new thing. 

Luthando has twins with her rapper ex-boyfriend Sizwe “Reason” Moeketsi. The pair broke up after years of being together. They seem to be co-parenting well and the twins are growing up well. 

Luthando recently bagged a career elavation of a lifetime on Apple Music Africa Now Radio with LootLove which debuted on 13 June. Announcing the career shift on her Instagram, she said, “I am beyond elated to announce that I am the new host of Africa Now Radio on @applemusic. *screams*…okay! I’m going to go cry now”.

Her stars are looking up and we are here for it. 

A number of ZAlebs have been losing their loved ones as of late. Sphesihle Ndaba who plays the role of Mazet on Gomora recently lost both her grandparents. They passed on two days apart. 

Speaking on the loss, Sphesihle said, “lost my grandmother this morning, just two days after I lost my grandfather. These two have really said together forever” 

On Gomora, Sphesihle is nothing like Mazet. Mazet is a gangster woman that enjoys making other people suffer and she will avenge anyone who messes with the ones she loves. Her storyline currently revolves around her trying to avenge the death of Langa. Langa passed on due to complications related to smoke inhalation after his father’s wife, Gladys set Sonto’s tavern (her nemesis) on fire not knowing that the happy fellow was inside talking to his father while looking for his mother’s phone.

Mazet is under the impression that Sfiso is the one that burnt the tavern leading to the fire that in turn killed Langa. She is adamant. Let’s hope she is not going to kill an innocent just because she is indebted to the Molefes. 

Unlike Mazet who dropped out of high school and did not get her matric certificate, Sphesihle is a degreed and honoured lady. She has a Bachelor of Social Science, Psychology, Economics and Drama as well as BSS (Hons) in Dramatic Arts. Mazet is changing her life around though. She is doing her grade 12 via ABET (Adult Basic Education and Training) and we hope that there will be not be further interruptions in her life going forward. We have got to give it to her.
