South African viewers gave her a warm welcome when she entered the SABC 2 soapie, Muvhango as Dr Nthabeleng...James' girlfriend. ZAlebs had a quick chat with Mona Monyane about her acting career and the man in her life.
It is an undeniable fact that the proudly African Mona is set for greatness in the world of acting, her talent is hard to forget, this includes her beauty as well. ZAlebs had the opportunity to get to know a bit more about the actress.
Mona may be making great strides in South Africa but she informed us that she was actually born in Harare, Zimbabwe on the 16th of May 1990 whilst her parents were in exile.
Even though she began her acting career 5 years ago, she has managed to attract the attention of many viewers with her craft in acting.
I began my acting career in 2012. The highlight of my career is performing at the Market Theatre main stage. I believe the industry is transforming in the right direction and the more I create and invest in improving the quality of the final product the better.
The sky is no limit. My fans should expect to see me spreading my wings in film etc.
Although she may be passionate about acting, Mona admitted that if she was not an actress she would've settled for a career in being a psychologist.
Mona is currently in a relationship with seasoned actor, Khulu Skenjana whom you've probably seen in many television drama series and films throughout the years.
Mona shared a bit about their relationship and how they ensure that they constantly keep their relationship exciting.
Khulu and I met over a year ago and we keep the fire burning in our relationship by making time to spend one on one time together, no matter how busy our schedules are. We believe in celebrating love all the time, and not only on Valentine's day.
The actress shares a daughter with Khulu, whom they named Ahadi and according to Mona, Khulu and their daughter are joined by the hip, the father and daughter relationship is such a beautiful thing to witness via Mona's Instagram account.
