In the show's latest episode, Thobile had organized an event dubbed the "Black Tier Affair" in which the housewives brought their husbands along but she ended up becoming a laughing stock. There was no shortage of style at the extravagant event, with some of the housewives arriving in Ferraris or Lamborghinis.
They brought their fashion A game to the affair. The wives had no idea who the host was when they attended the mysterious party. Their curiosity kept on growing until they learned that it was Thobile who had invited them. Talk about remaining mysterious.
The radio host made a grand entrance with her hubby Musa Mseleku dressed to their nines. She introduced herself and welcomed everyone to the event but it appears some were not impressed with her grand arrival.
Thobile had arrived with a white Toyota ride and viewers dragged it. It appears they were expecting her to raise the bar high like the other housewives who arrived in fancy rides.
Eish, I love Thobile but iToyota? Amongst AmaLambo and Ferrari?
Many viewers are anxious that the show is now turning into Uthando Nes'thembu as a snippet of next week's episode sees Mseleku talking about his polygamous marriage.
Can Musa and Thobile keep ISTHEMBU CULT to themselves. Not every man wants isthembu 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄#RHODurban
I understand that LaConco is loyal to Mayeni as they are friends but that reaction was unnecessary.Thobile needs to create her own storyline without Mseleku.I’d prefer they both stuck to Uthando neStembu. They seemed out of place🤦🏽♀️.Housewives are a different ball game #RHODurban
Other viewers have also noticed that LaConco is probably not fond of MaKhumao. This comes after she dragged MaKhumalo's grand entrance.
"You know I am expecting some private jets, red carpets, Oprah Winfrey is in Durban or some Beyonce has landed or somebody special, we were invited by Thobile. I have never been bored like this in my life?
Thobile recently revealed why she decided to be part of this franchise stating that she wanted people to know Thobile as an individual. "I think the biggest reason was the fact that many people know me from Uthando Nes'thembu, and they don't get to understand Thobile as an individual. And whenever you go around, people cannot just see you as yourself, but they have to bring in the family you’re married into because that's how they know you. Which is not a bad thing and it’s something that I don't have a problem with - but I have a life outside the whole family," she said.
