Today is your last chance to audition for a role on SABC

For the past few months, SABC 3 has been doing a major promotional push for their competition which seeks to give aspiring actors a chance to break through and score a role on a major SABC 3 show and today is your last chance to audition.

Over the past few weeks, they have held live auditions in cities across the country including Pretoria, Pietermaritzburg and East London.

Those who make it through to the next round will then go on to the finals where they will appear in a 13-episode reality show full of “melodramatic acting challenges and competitive angst in the search for two new faces to grace beloved drama’s across SABC platforms.”

Anyone over the age of 18 is can audition and they are required to prepare a one minute monologue as part of their audition.

Those of you entering on line can film your monologue, which is a long speech by one actor in a play or film, or as part of a theatrical or broadcast programme based on particular theme, keep the video handy and fill out this form by clicking here.

You will need to answer a number of questions, including whether or not you would be able to relocate to Johannesburg for the duration of the show. You will presumably be sent details on how to upload your audition.
