By now most of us are aware that August Alsina is making his way to our shores with ”club stirrer” C.Breezy!
With the amount of excitement surrounding his first visit to the country, ZAlebs called the tour promoter, Glen Netshipise from Glen 21 Entertainment to hear what August's thoughts are ahead of his first visit to South Africa.
“August is just really excited to be coming down to S.A. We’ve been working on bringing him here for a while now and this Chris Brown tour was the perfect opportunity to finally have him in South Africa. People coming to the concert should really expect to be blown away by both acts. What’s cool is that Chris and August are both great vocalists, so people will have their money’s worth. It’s two of the hottest R&B guys at the moment, what more can we ask for.”
The last time Chris Brown came to our shores many of his fans were not impressed with the short duration of his previous concert in 2012. ZAlebs asked Glen if the concert will be longer this year, especially considering the price tickets.
“When people are having too much fun, time tends to fly and I think the biggest challenge we had last time, was that there was no opening act, which also contributed to the perception that Chris performed for a short time. We learned from that error and that’s why this time around he has someone to open up for him.”
Interestingly enough, August Alsina has just finished a tour with Usher. It seems like the 21-year-old has been working his butt off. Hopefully, not too much, we don't want him to pass out like he did last year during a performance in New York.
Hmm..we are also wondering if Chris Brown is coming with his on and off bae Karrueche
Chris Brown is set to perform at the Coca-Cola Dome in Joburg on Thursday the 2nd of April, followed by his second concert at the Moses Mabhida People’s Park, on Saturday, 4 April 2015.
