The Muvhango actress recently opened up about being bullied in high school for not being fluent in vernacular during her earlier years. This led to her schoolmates calling her African-American. Samuels revealed this in an interview Tshisa Live.
Samuels was born and bred in Soweto in 1990. She's the youngest of three siblings - she had two older sisters.

Buhle got her big break on SABC 2's hit soap-drama Muvhango playing Matshidio. She then left the role and returned earlier this year. Much to the delight of her fans.
