All that can be said is that maybe Cassper needs more time to work on it.

The Billiato owner has been mum. This could do with the fact that Cassper might be working on his return to music. A sentiment which towards the end of 2022 he suggested that he would take more seriously in the coming year as reported than:

Taking to Twitter recently, Cassper Nyovest revealed why he believes that his music has taken a dive in terms of its overall reception from music lovers. This is as he attributed the decline in the popularity of his recent releases to how much his brand has diversified in the past.

As such, Nyovest asserted that in 2023, he wants to take the time to focus on creating quality and impactful music. This sentiment came off the back of a tweep and fan of his music suggesting that this would have been the perfect time for Nyovest to release an album. This is as South Africans are still awaiting a Song of the Year to usher in the New Year.
Therefore, it is safe to assume that Cassper is aiming to have a big come this year. More so when considering that AKA is set to release his new album Mass Country in February, and the album already has a gold certified hit with Lemon  (Lemonade) featuring Nasty C and the current lead single PRADA featuring Khuli Chana is gaining traction.
But after what has been leaked as a suggestion of the type of sound that Cassper is planning his comeback with, it seems that maybe he needs to spend more time in the studio working on it.

While Cassper might be scarce on social media, recently a video from a tweep. Specifically, an AKA fan to contextualise why the video must be taken with a grain of salt, shared a video of Cassper in the studio working on what sounds like new music.

Seemingly, it would suggest that Cassper is attempting to get back into Amapiano this year following his lacklustre Hip-Hop releases in 20222. As such, the song is, uhm… Initially, you could believe that the video might have been from 2020 as he is wearing an A.M.N t-shirt and not his newest fashion brand Root of Fame. However, it is the dance moves which suggest that this is a recent studio session.
As such, the comments on the song were less than complimentary.
But the comments on Cassper and his music does not seem to bother him anymore. This is when you take into consideration his recent assertions on the “hate” he receives over his latest releases. It seems that Cassper is trusting on his music catalogue which has three  of some of the most lauded Hip-Hop albums released in the past two decades including his debut album, Tsholofelo and the two that followed after Refiloe and Thuto.
