Another Mzansi artist has allegedly pulled a missing in action after he was booked to perform to an event. The new amapiano sensantion Toss is wanted by a promoter who demands all the money that were paid to the singer who decided to miss the gig instead.

There is a growing trend of artists and musicians who are constantly missing our on gigs even after they have been paid upfront. Toss is the latest to have pulled a missing in action when he was suppose to perform at Ditos Bar and Braai in Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape on 22 December.
According to Zimoja Lezinto, event organizer and promoter Skhulu Mqolo is said to have paid Toss's manager Slindile Mpatho fifty percent (50%) of his fee which was R12 500 but on the day of the event Toss was nowhere to be found.
"I did everything by the book. Toss charged us R25 000 for his performance and his management asked me to pay 50% deposit before he could come and the balance was to be paid after the performance,” said Skhulu Mqolo
Reportedly, Toss was also booked to perform at another venue in East London when Ditos Bar and Braai booked him as well. But because both the areas are close in proximity, Skhulu Mqolo jumped into an opportunity to book him as well.
However, following an agreement with Skhulu Mqolo and the owner of the other establishment where Toss as initially booked to perform. The terms of agreement suggested that Ditos Bar and Braai pays for Toss's traveling and accommodation instead. Toss's schedule conflict did not hold enough water as he he failed to pitch at Ditos Bar and Braai, even after he was paid fifty percent (50%) upfront.
“We paid that to Ekhoneni and paid a deposit to Mpatho Holdings," added Skhulu Mqolo
Things for Toss got confused when he missed his flight in Dubai. Subsequently, Ditos Bar and Braai were bound to not come to fruition. However, after communications between the establishment and Toss's management, the event was agreed to be postponed for another time Toss become available.
“We called his management and they asked that we postpone the event to December 22, which we gladly communicated with our patrons who had bought tickets. But on the day of the event, Toss arrived at the venue with his management to find that the area was hit by loadshedding" added Skhulu Mqolo
On the day that was agreed on, Toss arrived but was met with load shedding. Reportedly, he refused to perform with a generator, instead he demanded his full payment and promised to return some other time but that was the last time they saw of him.
“We had paid him the 50% deposit and our agreement was that we will pay the performance after he performed. Besides all that we offered to pay him with cash, but he refused, we paid from a different bank account as his and when the money didn't reflect the same time he left and promised to come back after performing at the gig in East London,” ended Skhulu Mqolo
