Dineo Ranaka
Dineo Ranaka has issued a warning of a more emotional nature than normal – that she does not want people looking up to her too much.
One thing about Dineo – she is innovative. She is constantly coming up with new ways to express herself and to make money, and this time, she will be doing both with her podcast, which she is set to launch briefly.

She has shared previews of an episode she is set to drop in a few days time, and it is already getting a lot of attention. In the clips shared, she has Blaklez on as her guest, and the two of them have a candid conversation, presumably around multiple topics close to both their hearts.
But one clip has caught fans’ attention. Dineo talks to Blaklez, revealing how much she dislikes being considered too much of a role model. It seems that she finds it quite difficult to be put on a pedestal by her fans, and she confesses that it is not the kind of life she would like for herself.

Please do me a favour and don’t look up to me too much. I’m not a perfect human being. When you look up to me, you make it very uncomfortable for me to be human,” she said.
We can only imagine what she is going through. It is rather tough to be idolised like that, because then every single thing you do is put under a microscope, and considered in light of what it means to those who look up to you. But sometimes people want the ability to make their mistakes and learn from them, and to have the normal experiences that are what make us human, right?

Dineo has had a rough time in the public eye, as she is always making headlines for one reason or another. There is no doubt that everything she does is scrutinised under a lens. We can imagine it got exhausting for her.
But one thing about Dineo – she is not afraid to speak and live her truth out loud, no matter how uncomfortable it may be for those watching her. After all, she only gets one life, so why waste it trying to be perfect for strangers?

She has also opened up on her struggles with anxiety, and we imagine being idolised does not make that any easier.
But she is being candid and honest about her story, and we love to see it. Honestly, we cannot wait for the podcast to drop. This is set to be yet another fire journey with Dineo.
