Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela first broke the news on his social media and wrote, "Under Leadership 2020, a personal development & educational services company, they have taken the plunge & dedicated their focus on #OpenUpTheIndustry with a second radio outfit, aptly titled HOMEGROWN."

With the aim of opening up the industry, DJ Sbu will not only be playing African music but will also feature new talented people from his radio training programme. "The new radio station is located on a HOMEGROWN Farm in Centurion. The station will only play African music and feature only new talent from its radio training programme. Its African positioning includes a focus on agriculture, entrepreneurship, entertainment and Africa," reported Phil.
Looking to get employed by the radio genius? Well here's how to work at this exciting new radio station: you simply need to finish a 12 week radio training programme which according to DJ Sbu, is compulsory, "We train our own talent through @Leadership_2020 we have a 12 week radio training programme called I WAS BORN TO SPEAK ON RADIO which is compulsory for you to finish before you can be employed to work at @radio_homegrown," he advised an interested tweep.

Homegrown is an online radio station which is looking to be included in the DSTV audio bouquet. "It's a digital online radio station obviously we will be on the DSTV AUDIO Bouquet eventually through time. @radio_homegrown
is a a start up so we taking baby steps. We live online for the first time ksasa 1st April 2021,"
said the number 1 Noxman.

Below is where you can listen to the radio station:
On his other radio station is an explosive interview with Ntsiki Mazwai, who bashes rapists along with Penny Lebyane. Together they have been very vocal about the issue of rape in the country and how prominent people sweep allegations under the rug.

"When it's somebody famous everyone shuts up about things like rape. But when it's an ordinary person then everyone is vocal. That's not ethical at all. Kanti what do you guys stand for?" said Ntsiki Mazwai, as quoted by DJ Sbu.

DJ Sbu shared one of the most powerful quotes from Penny who said, "The Politics of hunger are very serious in our industry, bread on the table is a reality. People have different responsibilities. How do you continue to be what you stand for without burdening yourself?"
