Africa's number 1 Female DJ announced a week ago that she is open for bookings. A week later, she revealed that she is fully booked starting from tomorrow in Cosmopolitan, Maboneng.

In your normal world, women may take at least 4 months of unpaid maternity leave. But not the Indlovu hitmaker, who is ready to step into the spotlight once again. This just goes to show how in demand Zinhle is and after decades in the industry, she is still very much relevant.

DJ Zinhle will be rocking your favourite groove places from October 8 right up to Monday October 11 where she will be DJing at R55 Chillout, Olivenhoutbos.

The working mother has also been actively involved in her other businesses which include Era By DJ Zinhle and BLVD Rose wine business. She shared a shot slip on her IG stories where she is nursing baby Asante on one hand and on her laptop on the other hand.

It has not been smooth sailing for her and baby daddy Murdah Bongz, as she constantly would wake up in the AMs just to tend to baby Asante. It has not been a walk in the park and Zinhle said she should have been warned. "Breastfeeding kicked my a**, Wow!" she exclaimed. "Someone should have told me how tricky it could get. Anyway I wont eventually, but Wow," she added.

DJ Zinhle and Murdah have been turned into zombies by their daughter Asante, who like every baby, wakes up in intervals.

"Murdah and I look like zombies from the lack of sleep. Our baby calm and she sleeps well but a new born is still so much work in the night. We are seeing flames," she said.

Zinhle also makes it a point to encourage other mothers to keep going and never give up. This tweet, opened the floor for mothers who have to deal with sleepless nights, and also go about their daily lives.

DJ Zinhle also has a handful of people who she can rely on when in time of need. On her reality show The Unexpected, she revealed that iconic DJ Oskido gifted her R200 000 when she was pregnant with Kairo. She reckons it is because he was worried.

“I feel like it's so tough to report to everyone that I am a fifty-thousand-year-old who's pregnant ... he [Oskido] was cool with me when I told him I was pregnant with Kairo, he even gave me money,” she said. “He gave me a lot of money, it was about R200 000 when I told him I was pregnant. I think he was just worried,” she revealed.

Their friendship is one of the most solid we have seen and she makes sure to remind us how generous Oskido is. On his birthday, she said, “The kindest guy I know. @oskidoibelieve thank you for everything you are. God bless and keep you...Guys. I'm so blessed to have @oskidoibelieve in my life. We all are.”

Speaking of Kairo Forbes, Zinhle said on her reality show that she and her father play no role in each other's lives. Despite what many people might think.

“This is something that is happening in Kiernan’s life but because Kiernan and I have a child together, it ends up affecting me. Kiernan has lost someone [Anele Tembe] he loves and now people are making it about me,” said Zinhle in conversation with Nomuzi.

“Kiernan can’t do anything without you being involved,” said Nomuzi.

“In my view right now, there are people that are going through worse with the situation… but it’s just also a bit tough when the comments are so cruel,” she told Moozlie.

“The thing about my life is a lot of things happen on social media and they’ve got nothing to do with me most of the time. They just end up affecting me in some way, and I’ve learned not to care about it but this is also an emotional time in my life as I am pregnant,” she continued.
