Innocent Matijane is the latest to speak out on his struggles with depression which did not start after his mother passed on. He has been battling with depression as he carried the financial burden of taking care of her bills.
The reality star and comedian told Daily Sun that his family has turned their backs on him and he had to take care of his mother's funeral expenses all on his own.
Selling his hard earned possessions including his Mercedes Benz and losing his apartment weighed heavy on his mental health and suicidal thoughts were imminent.
"I feel like committing suicide because of the things I’ve been going through even before my mother’s passing. I lost my job, friends and apartment. I even sold my Mercedes-Benz. Nobody in my family supported me. I didn’t have money to bury her," he opened up.
Inno said he cannot rely on anyone not even his father's side of the family as he does not feel welcomed by them.
The reality star said he is broke however he will not let his circumstances stop him from making his mother proud.
