Singer Kamo Mphela initially rose to fame on social media with videos of her busting some lit dance moves and she has become a household name with a legion of fans.

There's no doubt that many of her fans were surprised by her music career, as they were more familiar with her impressive dance moves, but home girl is now living the dream now. She has taken over the music industry with her electric dance moves and she is leaving no stone unturned to live life to the fullest. Often seen jetting off to other African countries, Kamo has even performed internationally.

Most people are probably curious about how much the musician charges for each performance, given her booming career. Well, according to blogger Musa Khawula, Kamo charges R35 000 and this does not include transport or accommodation for 5 people. The five people include her manager, two dancers and a DJ.

Having a successful career is also a priority for Kamo. Her debut single, Nkulunkulu, has been topping the charts. In an interview with Mac G recently, Kamo said she wants to take advantage of her fame because it doesn't last forever. "The fame doesn't last that long so you have to make the most of it while you still have time. That's what people don't understand. It's not a lifetime thing unless you are legendary." She adds.

"Cassper is still the biggest artist but he still has to convince people that he is the best. I don't want to go through that personally. There's only so much you can do in your own country. Fill Up was the biggest so what's next? It's easy to get to the top but it's hard to stay there.

In June 2020, it was reported that Kamo pocketed R25.000 for a performance. Local YouTuber Oabile said Cassper charged R207.000 for a 30 minutes performance. According to Sowetan, Cassper claimed in 2015 that he would clock about two million a night

“I make too much money and I own businesses, I’m not just a rapper, I own my business and in my business I own myself.

“Then I’ve got my energy drink, I’ve got my clothing label and then I’ve got property. I’ve got artists, I do my own events which can clock about two million a night,” Cassper explained.

Cassper has been gunning for the billionaire status and he is working hard to working towards that direction. "I'm far from a billionaire man but I will be a billionaire one day. It's not even about the money. It about proving to myself that I can start from 0 to a billion.  I'm sure it'll also inspire others but if I could just see it sit in the account I will be mind blown." he recently said.
