Luxury social media influencer and stylist Kefilwe Mabote popularly known as Kefiboo turns 32 today.

Kefilwe lives one fabulous lifestyle and we can't help but watch in awe. From Prada bags to luxurious trips whilst sipping champagne on a yacht, Kefilwe Mabote has lived and there's no doubt that she owns the luxury-blogger space.

However, Kefilwe has had a few run-ins where she rubbed some people the wrong way because of her actions. Let's take a look at the times Kefiboo made the headlines this past year.

Kefilwe's black magic claims


After Jackie Phamotse went on a rant to claim that celebrities use snakes and dark magic to acquire money and fame Kefilwe was the last celebrity to weigh in on the matter.

Taking to her popular Instagram account, Kefilwe shared a post that we think was directed to Jackie's controversial claims. In the first frame, she shared a snap of herself on a plane living lavish and in the second frame, there are two videos of herself, one holding a large snake on her shoulders and the other next to a different snake.

“Zi-right Zi-sssnakes?” She captioned her post. "People will now be scared of sabaweling a Ssssoft life and going to Ssssnake parks because bazothi “Sssssithwele”lives"

So is Kefilwe also using snakes to get rich?

Kefilwe loses to Sunday World


Perhaps the media does take it too far sometimes and Kefilwe thought she teaches them a lesson. Sadly, things did not go according to plan for her.

The Sunday World Newspaper dated 11 October 2020 published an article on Kefilwe branding her a “Slay Queen” on a “bedroom roll” thereby placing her brand in disrepute.

In her official statement, Kefilwe felt that the article was very misleading and described her in a way that doesn't reflect her true character. She then decided to take the legal route, but her dream was short-lived.

Kefilwe dragged for sharing funeral photos


It was a sad day for Kefilwe who lost her mom in December last year, but little did she know her actions at the funeral were going to cost her, deeply.

Like the influencer she is who loves to post pictures on Instagram, she decided to post some pictures from the funeral. One picture in particular that grabbed the public's attention was that of her and her influencer friends dripping in black.


Some fans were not impressed with the fact that she made it look like a regular event in her influencing career.

Kefilwe's book to name and shame her haters


Surely the gloves came off for Kefilwe and she meant every word. She came out guns blazing on social media to address haters who continue to spew bile on her. This follows after she was being dragged into her wealthy boyfriend Edwin Sodi's controversial multimillion-rand asbestos audit contract saga.

The Hawks seized over R300 million worth of his possessions and over twenty-five luxury cars. Following this drama tweeps dragged Kefilwe and said she also allegedly benefited from the millions of rands made from the tender and alleged that her opulent lifestyle is maintained by the money which is injected by her boo.

Kefilwe Mabote meets 'Mr. H.'


Post her dramatic breakup with ex-boyfriend Edwin Sodi, Kefilwe managed to turn a new leaf in life and moved on. She apparently found love in the arms of an Italian man named Mr. H who swept her off her feet with an expensive Chanel gift.


Kefilwe posted a video on her Instagram page, of her opening an expensive Chanel neck jewelry she seemingly received from her "new man". Giving us a glimpse of her heart's keeper, Kefilwe further posted a picture of them hugging proving that she is off the market again.
