TV presenter and actress Khanya Mkangisa received a special shoutout from the international superstar Rick Ross.
The rapper was congratulating Khanya on 2 Million followers. In the video, he says: "What's up Khanya, It's the biggest boss in the game Rick Rosé congratulations on hitting that 2 Million followers. Now let's take it to 4 Million..."

Khanya thanked Rick Ross and her fans for the milestone, she wrote: 2 Milli Baby! I’ll def drink to that! Thank you...family, but mostly thanks to all 2 million of you. Working on something witht@officialbelaire to celebrate YOU!
Another celebrity who recently celebrated millions of followers is rapper and TV personality Boity Thulo. She recently hit 5 Million followers on Instagram becoming the most followed female celebrity in South Africa.

Ornico Media Monitoring Agency told TshisaLIVE that she is also the most followed artist in SA

The rapper told the publication that she was happy to reach this milestone, “It feels incredibly overwhelming in the best way. I never take any milestone for granted no matter how big or small and this is a great feat ... It honestly is a true honour ... it plays a big role in creating more streams of income. I’m wholeheartedly grateful.

“But the pressure is also hectic as I have to keep the followers interested ... Either way, it’s all an incredible blessing,” Boity said.

To celebrate this milestone, Boity said she has decided to take a few of her followers out, "I’ve been thinking about the best way to show my gratitude. To start with, I will be choosing 5 of my followers to take out for the day as soon as the lockdown levels allow.

"I’ll also be thinking of more ideas of things to do with and for my followers as means of showing gratitude for all the love you guys give me on a daily basis!" What a privilege and an honour!! I cannot thank you all enough for the constant love and support! It means the absolute world to me!
A few days ago, Boity shared that she has been a victim of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Releasing a statement, Boity revealed that she was assaulted and that she has opened a case against the culprit.

"It is with deep sadness to state that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of a vicious physical assault and I have since opened a case against the culprit., which I am following with a keen interest. I do not wish to comment on the matter any further (at this time). I respectfully request some space as I try to find a way to heal both physically and emotionally from this traumatic experience," her now-deleted statement read.
